FAQ
1. Adoptive sites for automatic sanitary wares?
Answer: School, hotel, office building, hospital, shopping malls, food processing enterprise, tourism sites, places need purification operations.
2. Problems need special attention during the installation process?
Answer: 1) Read carefully product manual provided by manufacturer. 2) Clean up impurities contained in the pipelines with water. 3) Pay attention to the installation direction of products.
3. How do automatic faucets work?
Automatic faucets combine four key components: Solenoid valve, electronic unit (infrared sensor), power source, and faucet body. Solenoid valve: Transforming electrical energy into motion, the solenoid physically starts and stops the water flow. Weon products use "latching" solenoids. The solenoid is initially energized to start the water flow, the plunger is driven into the range of a permanent magnet which in turn holds the plunger in the "open" position. In order to return the plunger into its original "closed" position the solenoid is once again "pulsed" but this time by reversing polarity. This operation conserves battery power, thats why a latching solenoid can be used at electronic faucets powered by batteries or mains. Electronic unit: senses the presence of an object (the users hands) in front of the faucet and sends a signal to the solenoid valve to initiate the flow of water. When the object is no longer present, the electronic unit orders the solenoid valve to terminate the flow of water usually after a few seconds (delay out time). Power source: most of Weon models have the possibility to be powered by a regular Lithium battery. Batteries are included with the product. Faucet body: Delivers the water. Weon puts special emphasis in design. Even if the faucet is electronic it must be in tune with the style of every specific place. Weon produces automatic faucets with different styles to match every decorative theme.
4. What settings can be changed with the remote control?
The remote control can be used to change the following parameters at Weon products:
Suggestion: automatic faucet could only be used to adjust sensor distance.
A the sensor distance
B the second flushing time
C the automatic urinal flusher and automatic flusher will be exchanged between normal model and water-saving model .
Use it within a distance about 0.5 m to 2 m right with the remote control, if press is effective, then, the indicator on remote control will glitter (at this time, the remote control still shall be on the right direction of sensor window, after the indicator light is extinguished, then proceed second adjustment). The remote control is used to set the sensor distance and flushing time:
A Press the key "Dis+" to prolong sensor distance, press one time, the sensor distance will be prolonged to 3cm-4cm, if the setting is effective, then indicator light on remote control will glitter for one time, if set as the longest, indicator light will glitter for 3 seconds .Press the key "Dis-" to shorten sensor distance, press one time, the sensor distance will be shortened to 3cm-4cm, if the setting is effective, then indicator light on remote control will glitter for one time, if it was set as the shortest, indicator light will glitter for 3 seconds .
B Press the key "Time+" to prolong the second flushing time . Press one time, the flushing time will be prolonged by 1.2s; if it was set as the longest, indicator light will glitter for 3 seconds.Press the key "Time-" to shorten the second flushing time .Press one time, the flushing time will be shortened by 1.2s; if it was set as the shortest, indicator light will glitter for 3 seconds.
C Press the key N/S, automatic urinal flusher and automatic flusher will be exchanged between normal model and water-saving model, (Water-saving model: only one flush for every induction. Normal model: flush one time for effective induction and after finishing flush one time again.)
5. Can automatic faucet be used at high traffic / high abuse public areas?
Weon products are designed to minimize the possibility of any malfunction and have all the vandal resistant properties that can apply to such a system. We are Powering by a lithium battery with capacity reach to 3,000mah; within the designed life cycle (5,000 times/month, about 5years) of Solenoid valve, there is no need to change battery; All the product are entirely sealed shell waterproof design and Optimized filter design improved its ability to prevent blockage.
